ZYCKO Fairford 10k Road Race

For those who want a challenge and to run through idyllic picture postcard Cotswold countryside, then the Fairford 10k Road Race is the one to do. The minimum age is 17 years old.

This event has a UK Athletics/MCAA permit, UK Athletics Licence Number 10545  and is accurately measured.

Last year the race attracted runners from all over the country. Twenty-Four counties were represented from Yorkshire to Norfolk and down to Devon as well as runners coming from Wales.  No On the Day Registration.

The course is a single lap through idyllic Cotswold countryside, starting on Park Street, Fairford, over the Mill Bridge, towards Quenington and back into Fairford down the Hatherop Road, through the Croft and finishing at Park Street by the Walnut Tree Field. All finishers will receive a medal. There are 16 prizes to be won, the categories being :

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male / Female
• 1st Fairford Male/Female
• 1st Male Veteran 40, 50, 60
• 1st Female Veteran 35, 45, 55
• 1st Male Team ( 3 to score )
• 1st Female Team ( 3 to score )

Fairford Therapy Centre will be providing on-site physiotherapy, Sports Massage and Thai Yoga Massage for the event for the third year running.
