Fairford Country Market (formerly the WI Market) is a co-operative of local people selling homemade/grown produce and an interesting variety of crafts. These are:

  • Sponge, fruit cakes and cookies.
  • Savouries like steak and kidney pies.
  • Local honey, homemade marmalade, jams and chutneys.
  • Fresh seasonal vegetables.
  • Farm fresh Free Range eggs
  • Plants, bedding plants, seasonal flowers, herbs.
  • Cards which can be made to order for any occasion
  • Crafts including handmade soft toys, knitted baby clothes.

Relax and chat in the coffee area

The Market is open every Wednesday from 8.30 am - 11.00 am in the Community Centre.

Refreshments are available at very reasonable prices - 80p for a cup of tea or real ground coffee on its own or £1.00 with a mouthwatering cake or cookie.
Come and have a chat with friends in the coffee area. Everyone is welcome.

Accessibility. Our Market is accessible to people in wheelchairs and for children's buggies.

The Fairford Country Market operates to exacting standards - everyone has current hygiene certificates and there are strict quality and pricing controls. All baked goods are wrapped for extra cleanliness. Everything is fresh and so can be frozen.

Cheques are accepted with a bankers card, but unfortunately we cannot take credit cards.

The Market offers a Pre-ordering Service. If you place an order by Friday, your freshly baked items will be ready waiting for you on the Wednesday.

The Market also participates in the National Parcel Scheme whereby you can send a box full of produce to anyone in the country from the nearest Country Market. Please ask for more details.

The Market also operates a Free Local Delivery Service for the housebound. Payment on delivery.
