GCC Plans to downgrade Fairford Library
As part of their cost cutting plans, Gloucestershire County Council is intending to make Fairford Library a
'library express' with less stock, fewer services and less staff. It will only open 3.5 days a week. Lechlade library
is to close altogether unless run by volunteers.
Friends of Gloucestershire Libraries are campaigning against the county wide cuts amounting to 43%. Visit their
