AlAll Change in the Market Place

At long last the first part of the Regeneration of the Market Place has materialised. The aim was to make the area around the Post Office safer for pedestrians and this is certainly the case. However the changes have reduced the area where cars can park quite considerably and there are some rumblings in the town.

The alterations have even raised eyebrows in the Town Council as the pavement outside the Bull Hotel is wider than it commissioned and there were no plans for the unsightly wooden bollards.  Councillors are taking the matter up with Gloucestershire County Council who implemented the changes.
