St Mary’s Church, Fairford A Weekend of Celebrations
10th to 14th June 2010
A weekend of celebration on the completion of the restoration of the medieval stained
glass windows which has taken over 21 years to restore thanks to the Friends of Fairford Church.
Flower Festival, Concert, Thanksgiving Service, History Exhibtion and Talk by windows restorer, Keith Barley.

Thursday 10th June:
- Festival of Flowers Pre-view party 6.30 in the Church for invited guests only
Friday 11th June:
- Festival of Flowers 10.00 am to 6.00 pm
- Light Refreshments served all day in the Community Centre.

Saturday 12th June:
- Festival of Flowers 10.00 am to 6.00 pm
- Light Refreshments served all day in the Community Centre.

- History Exhibition in the Community Centre
Sunday 13th June:
- Festival of Flowers 11.30 am to 2.15 pm and 4.15 pm to 5.30 pm
- Light Refreshments served until 2.30 pm in the Community Centre. If a large party, please contact 01285 712428
- Thanksgiving Service conducted by the Bishop of Gloucester 3.00 pm followed
by tea and cakes in the Community Centre
- Keith Barley who restored the windows will give a talk 6.00 pm
Monday 14th June:
- Festival of Flowers 10.00 am to 2.30 pm
- Light Refreshments served all day in the Community Centre during the above hours
- Friends of Fairford Church Party in the Community Centre 6.45 pm for members only
- Concert ‘Windows Restored’ featuring international opera singers Helen Williams (soprano)
and John Graham-Hall (tenor) accompanied by two pianists Simon Callaghan and Hiroaki Tachenouki 7.30 pm
in the Church organised by the Friends of Fairford Church. Tickets will go on public sale
on April 27th. Tickets £10 available from Chester House, High Street, Fairford or in person.
